Hans Kesting (1960) has been performing with Toneelgroep Amsterdam since 1987 with some gaps. He appeared in Phaedra, Ghosts, Antonioni Project, Angels in America, The Russians!, RomanTtragedies and Crusades, Kesting was awarded the Louis d'Or for his role in Angels in America. He previously performed in plays such as Othello, Mourning becomes Electra and the title role in Ajax.

In addition to his work with TA, Kesting can be seen in various films, performances with Het Zuidelijk Toneel and in his own TV-programmes Circus Pavlov and the Hans Kesting Show. He appeared in the films Win/Win, Amsterdam (directed by Ivo van Hove) and Spion van Oranje [Spy of Orange].
