Karina Smulders (1980) has been associated with Toneelgroep Amsterdam since 2002. She appeared in Roman Tragedies, Ifigeneia in Aulis, Antonioni Project, Summer Trilogy, Hedda Gabler, Cries and Whispers, and The Russians! She appears in the new productions After the Fall and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (directed by Jacob Derwig). Smulders made her acting debut in the television series On the Way to Tomorrow. She appeared in various films such as Wolfsbergen, Bride Flight, and in All Time (directed by Job Gosschalk).
